re-emergence

This exhibit is titled “Re-emergence,” but it could as well be called “Reunion” since it brings together works of art by friends who some ten years ago joined their talents to form a cooperative gallery under the sponsorship of the late Ron Burbick.

During the lockdown museums and galleries closed like everything else, and most opportunities to show works of art ended abruptly.

The ten of us stayed in touch online during these months, and shared images of current projects as well as words of encouragement. At some point we decided to have a show, for artists want and need people to see their art as much as actors require an audience and musicians need a crowd.

So, eighteen months after the pandemic’s start, we begin with this show our re-emergence from its spell.
